Chad Frederick is the CFO for Semanti Corp. and responsible for all fiscal matters relating to the organization. Frederick was a co-founder of Intuit Canada and held the post of COO and VP of Strategic Planning until leaving in 2004. During his time at Intuit Canada, Frederick saw the organization grow from the original two employees to more than 500 staff and 200 seasonal employees, with annual revenues of over $115M.

Frederick wore many hats at Intuit including driving the company’s acquisition strategy, overseeing product management and customer driven innovation, and being the key person behind product strategy in two business units; QuickBooks and Pro Tax. Frederick also led Intuit Canada’s government relations efforts.

A professional designated accountant, Frederick is skilled in acquisitions, financial planning and operational analysis.

Prior to Intuit Canada, Frederick operated his own accounting practice. He graduated from the University of Alberta and also received his Certified Management Accountant designation.
